Mature Dragon Fruit

Hi Gardeners,

In the nursery this week we have some mature, self pollinating, Vietnamese White Dragon Fruit plants!

The Vietnamese White are a popular variety of dragon fruit with white flesh and pink skin. The sweet flesh speckled with small, dark seeds. The taste is described as similar to watermelon or kiwi fruit.

Dragon fruit put on a stunning display when flowering and give you delicious fruit that are increasing in popularity across Australia.

Sweet and juicy to eat fresh, you can also turn these fruit into yummy desserts such as sorbets, smoothies bowls, cookies, pavlova and juices. Add to salads, rice and wraps for an interesting twist to savoury meals.

Come into the nursery this week for a chat and advice on how to grow. We have limited numbers of mature dragon fruit available. We have smaller sizes in other varieties including Purple haze, Sheryl’s Pink, Vietnamese White, Ruby red, Isis Gold.
